ATEX Zone Classifications

  • Zone 0: Continuous explosive atmosphere — inside closed solvent tank.

Where Does a Recovery Machine Fall?

Recovery machine installation is Zone 1 or Zone 2. The machine must be ATEX compliant: non-sparking motor, static earthing, pressure relief.
